Cookies

On our websites and apps, various information is stored in so-called cookies. Their intention is to provide a user-friendly handling of the application and make the overall internet offer more effective. In addition, the data stored in a cookie makes the repeated filling of forms redundant.

We especially use cookies in order to be able to recognize previous visitors on our website during a subsequent visit. This means you won’t have to log in again for each visit. Therefore, the legal basis of this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can manage the acceptance of cookies on our websites and apps in your browser and block them if necessary. You can also delete cookies that have already been set at any time. Furthermore, you can inform yourself about the possibility of deactivating cookies in the settings of your selected browser. We recommend that you regularly delete cookies and your browser history manually.

Google Web Fonts

We use so-called web fonts provided by Google for a consistent presentation of fonts on our website. Our pages load all required web fonts into their browser cache every time they’re accessed. This is necessary in order to be able to display all text bodies and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the type of browser that is used automatically connects to Google’s servers. By doing so, Google is made aware of your using and accessing our website via your IP address. The agreed upon use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services at CAY Solutions. This is a legitimate interest in the meaning of Article 6 Paragraph 1 (f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a fitting default font will automatically be used by your computer.

For the purpose and scope of data collection as well as the further processing and use of the data, please refer to https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq und in Google’s privacy policies: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Analysis of Websites

To optimize the contents and offers of our websites, and to collect statistical evaluations, various technical programs are used to record data about the behavior of the user of the websites and apps anonymously. For this purpose, data on click behavior, visit duration, system settings and user origin are collected as text files through the use of analysis software. Cookies are stored on your computer for these evaluations. The collected data may be stored on the servers of the operators of the analysis tools. The data collected will not be used for a personal identification of the user, and will not be combined with other personal data of the user.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. In the following section, we describe in detail the analysis tools we use.

The following analysis tools are used for this purpose on our websites and apps:

Matomo

On our website, we use a program called Matomo, an open source software for the statistical evaluation of visitors’ access. All information generated by cookies regarding your use of our website is stored on our very own server in Germany for the sole purpose of website optimization. Your IP address will be immediately anonymized during this process (anonymizeIP), so that you at all times remain anonymous to us as a user. The information generated by cookies about your use of our website will at no point be disclosed to third parties.

You may prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to inform you that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of the website in full, but only in restricted use.

You can permanently contradict all tracking activities by Matomo by deactivating them. To do so, click on the text box below. As a consequence, a so-called “opt-out cookie” is stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo from collecting and tracking data during future access of our website. Please note that deleting the opt-out cookie may require you to deactivate all tracking activities again.
